Catherine McHale, LEED AP, Director

Cathy McHale serves as Director and Los Angeles Regional Lead. Cathy has over twenty-five years of experience in commercial interior design and project management; she joined VVA in 2010. A native of California, Cathy returned to Los Angeles in 2013 as a founding member of the VVA Project Managers West Coast team. She is skilled at building and leading project teams, developing the project strategy, creating project stakeholder consensus, and liaising with clients. She has a diverse background working with clients in multiple sectors including law firms, financial services, education, corporate, pharmaceuticals. Cathy’s project leadership, technical expertise and attention to detail have resulted in repeat business from many clients.

Prior to joining VVA, Cathy was an Associate and Senior Project Manager for Mancini Duffy, a New York based architectural firm. There she managed a number of large and programmatically complex projects, including a 4 Million sq. ft. fast-track real estate consolidation for a pharmaceutical company merger.

Cathy has worked for leading national and international design and architectural firms in New York, Georgia, Illinois, California and New Zealand, and is a LEED Accredited Professional and an NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer.
