Morrison & Foerster
Morrison & Foerster, a global Law Firm, enlisted VVA's services to manage the 204,000 RSF construction and relocation of their New York offices to a new out of the ground building at 250 West 55th Street. The project included initial tenant improvement work that would allow for an increased number of attorneys on each floor and a new aesthetic with better overall functionality.
The project highlights included the construction of a state of the art visitor and conference center, new employee lunchroom spaces, and LEED Gold certification. The World Class Green designed building has oversized windows with sweeping views of the Hudson River and a massive tree lined garden on the third floor terrace. With 10 foot high ceilings, the building also boasts high performance elevators and more expansive windows than most Midtown Office High Rises.
The New York Office location required a new construction approach that has become a model for future construction of similar towers. The firm's New York Office is now the 2nd largest in the firm's network of offices.
